Ülejõe Loomakliinik- Your pet’s good health!

The veterinary clinic was founded in 2000; initially, it was located at Haapsalu street 86 in Pärnu, however, it moved to its current location at J.V. Jannseni 33 in 2005. The premises were constructed taking into account the needs of a veterinary clinic. The clinic has two surgeries, a lab, a preparation and operation room, an x-ray and ultrasound diagnostics room, reception and the shop, and a changing room and a cosy lounge with a kitchenette for the staff.

There is also plenty of space for waiting with your pet; having said that, it would be reasonable to make an appointment when coming to see a vet.

The original name of the clinic was Vana-Pärnu Loomakliinik; however, currently it is called Ülejõe Loomakliinik which corresponds to the location better and can be understood more readily by our clients.

Since 2006, we also operate under the business name Milosten OÜ.

The clinic has made extensive investments into new diagnostic equipment in order to guarantee better veterinary services: in 2002, we bought a new veterinary X-ray machine, and in 2012, a portable X-ray machine with a digital scanner that enables to carry out X-ray diagnostic imaging in the field (specifically, in case of leg ailments of horses).

The clinic uses blood diagnostic equipment from the American company IDEXX that enables to conduct biochemical and haematological tests on all species of animals; in addition, we can determine the level of fibrinogens in equine blood (the only other place in Estonia for this is the Estonian University of Life Sciences).

The clinic conducts all procedures (vaccinations, implanting microchips, X-ray imaging, surgeries, etc.), except orthopaedic surgery.

We can also implant microchips in horses and fill in identification diagrams in cooperation with EHS (Eesti Hobusekasvatajate Selts or Estonian Horse Breeders’ Society) and ESHKS (Eesti Sporthobuste Kasvatajate Selts or Estonian Sports Horses Breeders’ Society).
